# CE Compliance for USB / Charging Devices

## Applicable CE requirements for chargers

### Low Voltage Directive (LVD)

### EMC Directive

Required for all chargers. Emissions testing ensures the charger does not interfere with other equipment. Immunity testing ensures reliable operation.

### Safety standards (IEC 62368-1)

The harmonised standard for IT/AV audio/video and information technology equipment power supplies. Replaces older IEC 60950-1 and IEC 60065.
