Getting a hardware product to legal sale isn't one task. It's a requirement map, a conformity route, a test plan, a lab booking, a technical file, a declaration, labels, marketplace fields and customs paperwork, and each one depends on the ones before it. Most teams buy those pieces separately, from different people, as each one becomes urgent.
That's where the time goes. A lab tests against a plan nobody checked. The consultant reviewing the technical file never saw the test scope. The declaration cites a standard version the lab didn't use. Every supplier did their part correctly, and the product still isn't ready to ship.
A Market Launch puts one consultant on the whole path. Krono's compliance team owns the sequence from the first requirement map to the signed declaration, so every decision is made with the next one in view, and you have one person to ask when something changes.

Design review and test plan
Schematics, test plan and sample configuration reviewed before samples are built, so the lab run has the best chance of passing first time.

We select an accredited lab, compare quotes and coordinate with them through to final reports. You pay the lab directly, with no mark-up from us.

Technical file assembled and reviewed, declaration prepared for your signature, labelling and marketplace fields completed.

An EU Declaration of Conformity's required content is set by Decision 768/2008/EC Annex III, and an incomplete DoC is itself a formal non-compliance regardless of whether the product is safe.

Common questions
What does “from $2,500” include?
Our work across the whole engagement for one product in one market on a self-certification route. Products that need a notified body, carry several radios or fall under unusual standards are quoted higher. You get a fixed number in writing after scoping, and it only changes if the scope does.
Are you a test lab or a notified body?
No, and that independence is deliberate. Testing is done by an independent accredited lab and, where your route requires it, assessment by a notified or approved body. We plan that work, coordinate it and make sure the evidence holds together, but the test results and any certificate come from them.
Are lab and notified body fees included?
No. Testing and certification fees are paid by you directly to the lab or body, so you see exactly what they cost. We take no commission from any lab.
Who signs the Declaration of Conformity?
You do. The manufacturer is always the legal declarant. We prepare the declaration and make sure the evidence supports every line of it, but the signature and the legal responsibility stay with you.
What happens if the product fails a test?
We work out why, agree the fix with your engineers and plan the retest. Handling that is part of the engagement; only the lab's retest fee is extra.
Can you pick up a project we've already started?
Yes. We start from wherever you are, and the scope and price reflect the work that's left.
