Most compliance work follows a pattern, which is why the engagements on this page exist. But some requests don't. Your contract manufacturer says a component is compliant and you have no way to check. An acquirer's diligence list has a regulatory section nobody internally can answer. You have more than four markets, or a product that sits between regimes.
Most consultancies will either force that into a package or quote hourly and leave you exposed to a bill you can't predict. Neither is an honest answer to a problem nobody has scoped yet.
So this is the way in for everything else. Describe the situation in plain language, no compliance vocabulary needed, and you'll get a straight reply: whether it's something we can do well, what it would involve, and a fixed price before anything starts. If a notified body, a test lab or a lawyer is the right call instead, we'll say so and point you at one.

That's the normal case, and it's the reason this exists. Describe what happened or what you're worried about in your own words. Working out the actual question is part of the reply, at no cost.
What does a custom engagement cost?
It depends entirely on scope. You get a fixed number in writing before any work starts, and you're free to decline it.
Will you tell me if you can't help?
Yes, and quickly. Some problems need a notified body, an accredited test lab or a qualified lawyer, none of which we are. Saying so on day one costs you nothing; discovering it three weeks in costs you a great deal.
